Walhalla, SC location is seeking Clemson University Mechanical Engineering students to work full-time in the Spring Semester and/or Summer Semester What you’ll do: Support our component processing area (stamp, heat treat, finishing). The candidate will be given several small projects that could be completed in a few months or provide solution/plan that we could carry out. Work alongside engineers Weekly report outs and End of Semester presentation Typical hours would be M-F 8am to 4:30pm. We are only 16 miles from Clemson's campus! A few projects we have in mind: Recycling acid & burnish in tumble Automation for grinder Improved load & unload on Heat Treat furnaces
Responsibilities
The intern will support the component processing area and work on several small projects. They will collaborate with engineers and present weekly reports and an end-of-semester presentation.
