As an Engineering Intern, at our Burlington, Ontario facility, you will work on a variety of assignments related to business growth and development while gaining exposure to the various technical and management elements under the guidance of senior managers. Starting May 2026 for a duration of 8 months.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in 2nd year or recent graduate of a Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Nuclear engineering program at a university with a minimum GPA of 75%
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • A background with practical skills developed through jobs, school teams or personal interest are highly valued.
  • Understanding of CANDU nuclear technology is valued

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of technical aspects of offers, across different product portfolios, including custom outage-based tooling systems and controls, coordinating input from Product Management, Project Management, and Delivery Teams as needed
  • Work with Engineering teams on the development of conceptual solutions to be included in the proposal
  • Support the costing of each component included in technical offer
  • Support the Customer Solutions Team monthly demand reports based on project pipeline with GOS to ensure proper resource allocation
  • Collaborate with Project Management teams to understand status of project(s) to inform future customer interactions
  • Work with supporting groups such as Global Supply Chain Solutions and QA to gather cost estimates for materials and other technical information to inform bids
  • Assist with the development of internal policies & procedures
  • Support the development and maintenance of tools to increase the efficiency of development of estimates and reporting of business metrics
