Description Summary: Through mentorship, collaboration, and guidance from senior engineers, performs various technical tasks associated with engineering projects. May be assigned a technical project to plan, execute, and report-out during the internship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Other duties may be assigned. Collaboratively works with engineering team members to complete technical tasks associated with Product Configuration, New Product Development, Product Design, Manufacturing, and Test Engineering functions. Utilizes a combination of measurement techniques, data collection, analysis, critical thinking, and software skills to provide insight and engineering solutions. Familiar with engineering analysis, calculations, and computational tools. Ability to understand engineering theory and develop analysis tools. May work with Operational team members to address test and manufacturing processes, equipment, operator safety, tooling, procedures, and work instructions. Reviews and checks engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for technical content, errors, notes, accuracy, functionality, and completion. Supports continuous improvement initiatives and completion of implementation activities. Must be coachable, goal orientated, self-starter, and excel independently or in a collaborative environment. Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on time. Requirements Education and/or Experience Currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year technical degreed program from a college or university.
