POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team at Vaupell. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equipment builds, equipment repair, and machine component design. As an Engineering Intern, you will assist in developing and installing machine and automation components, along with machine repair and electrical/hydraulic diagnostics and repair. Essential Duties and responsibilities * Perform mechanical engineering duties (3D Layout (Solidworks), Light Fabrication and Assembly, testing and production support) as assigned. * Assist in component fabrication and testing. * Work with Mechanical engineers to support any design activities. * Write test protocols and perform product testing as required. * Work productively both individually or as part of a team. * Understanding of Microsoft Office suite of software. * Good communication skills. * Ability to use hand tools for mechanical repairs. * Responsible for following all Vaupell policies and standard operating procedures and safety practices.  * Other duties as assigned.  Job Qualifications/Requirements * Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. * Requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Creative mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills. Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)  Environmental Condition While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
