Engineering Intern General Summary: Currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Engineering Intern position of Cadence Aerospace. We are looking for a highly driven individual that is interested in gaining exposure to the day-to-day workings of an engineer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Generate customer submittal documentation for non-conforming product. This will include review of purchase orders, contracts, specifications, and drawings and hands-on use of gauges and other inspection tools to validate non-conformances. Interface with Inspectors, Manufacturing shop personnel, Engineers and Management to complete Root Cause & Corrective Action Analysis. Review Manufacturing plans and create inspection plans. Gain learning experience through project work, leadership development, job shadowing and interaction with senior leadership Understanding of Lean principles and tools Qualifications: Junior or Senior standing with an Engineering degree (Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace preferred) A minimum 3.0 GPA The ability to dedicate no more than 29 hours a week for on-site projects in Anaheim, CA A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Solid skills in mathematics, statistics, engineering, graphics and procedural documentation The ability to work well in a team environment with exceptional human-relation skills Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results Benefits: Great opportunity to gain career-related work experience from an industry leader Paid Internship Flexible day shift hours Pay Transparency The salary information is a general guideline only.
