The Engineering Internship program provides participants with hands-on, practical experience with manufacturing engineering projects. The This role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site. Pay: $25/hr. Length: Internship will last from May through August, with the opportunity for extensions Responsibilities Engineering Intern Responsibilities: Exposure to Manufacturing environment that will benefit with corelating education and experience. Assisting with updating PMs/BoMs in CMMS, standardize job plans. Understanding and assisting with run failure data analysis (MTBF/MTTR), propose PM optimizations to reduce downtime. Support Kaizen/6S. Assist with storeroom inventory management utilization and optimization. Introduction to our engineering operating systems and how we utilize those systems: SAP, AutoCAD, E-plan, Siemens PLC’s, Step 7, IBA, TIA Portal. Engineering Intern Qualifications: Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools, as well as foundational knowledge in engineering principles. Attention to Detail: Precision in calculations, designs, and analysis to ensure accuracy and quality in projects. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and present ideas. Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with others and contribute positively to team dynamics. Adaptability: Flexibility in taking on various tasks and adapting to changes in project requirements or deadlines. Problem-Solving Ability: Eagerness to tackle challenges creatively and resourcefully. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Passion for Learning: An eagerness to learn new skills, techniques, and concepts in the engineering field.
