Description
HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking Manufacturing, Industrial, and Quality Engineer Interns. These Engineering Interns will be an active participant in identification of process improvement, efficiency, safety, quality, operations, and supply chain team initiatives for the summer. Responsibilities: Participate in various projects supporting safety, quality, operations, and supply chain teams. Provides thorough data analysis, including identification of process improvement. Troubleshoot problems and partner with HALCON team in expediting resolution. Formulate strategies and execute improvement plans by working with various teams throughout HALCON. Qualifications: Understanding the LEAN principles. Previous ERP Knowledge preferred. Excel skills. Preferred Education: Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or other applicable degrees. Basic proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze and propose improvements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Salary Range: The starting range for this position is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.
