POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this four-week, full-time, in-person Engineering Internship, you will support the research team at Kite Magnetics with an immediate fixed-term project. This will include assisting with the production and testing of novel magnetic and structural materials used in advanced electric motors and generator systems. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, this role will involve hands-on work in laboratory and manufacturing environments, material analysis and characterisation, and process documentation. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to build core technical skills while contributing to meaningful and impactful projects in innovative sustainable energy technologies. This is a temporary fixed term position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently completing or have recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Key team member or team leader in extracurricular projects
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory testing equipment and material characterisation methods.
