Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Engineering Lab Technician to join our team in Wichita, United States. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our engineering department by conducting laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision, organization, and efficiency are paramount to supporting our engineering operations and maintaining the highest quality standards. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments according to established procedures and specifications Conduct routine tests and measurements on materials, components, and systems, recording all data accurately and systematically Perform equipment troubleshooting and identify technical issues, implementing corrective actions or escalating problems as needed Prepare test samples and set up laboratory experiments following detailed protocols and safety guidelines Document all test results, observations, and equipment maintenance activities Ensure workspace remains organized, clean, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards Assist in the development and refinement of testing procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with engineering teams to understand testing requirements and deliver results that support project objectives Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed Qualifications Required Experience: 4+ years of strong HVAC experience is required Certification or Degree in HVAC related field Proficiency in operating testing equipment and instrumentation Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Experience with data collection, recording, and basic data analysis a plus Proficiency with computer systems Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures precisely Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience: Previous experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar technical support role Familiarity with engineering principles and testing methodologies Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control standards Experience with technical reporting Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans *Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
