Description
As an Engineering Laboratory Technician, you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement in the new product development operations. Also responsible for manufacturing propellant devices which are production items. More specifically, in this role, your responsibilities will be: Strict adherence to all Safety and Lab Procedures. Accurate logging of time worked to the appropriate Job Numbers. Maintenance of accurate material inventory logs. Mixing epoxy and propellant inhibitors. Handling explosives during loading operations. Completion of Standard work checklists, 5S activities and other tasks that are assigned. Participation in Daily Management meetings. Perform load determination based on engineering written workorder instructions. Prepare assembly learning reports. Conduct Moisture and Volatile testing of explosives and propellants. Perform nondestructive tests on energetic mechanical devices. Perform other related duties as assigned. 1 year minimum, experience in the handling of explosives or other hazardous materials preferred. High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
