ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a hands-on technical leader to join our team. This role involves leading a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and contributing to design and estimations to the technology leadership group to support new/existing business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on multiple software development technologies related to modern full-stack development and distributed systems.
• Design, build, and help maintain/operate our solutions and AWS backend.
• Lead different projects ensuring alignment to business and roadmap priorities.
• Provide end-to-end support for issues that go beyond the core product.
• Foster an innovative environment and lead the team by example in developing optimal solutions and unblocking challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and distributed solution design on cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of experience leveraging AWS for secure and cost-effective data and backend solutions.
• Strong experience with technologies such as .NET/Power-platform development, Typescript/NodeJs, functional programming, automation via Pulumi, CDK, CloudFormation, REST API design principles, RPC design principles, React, and related technologies for UI implementations.
• Demonstrable experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of engineers.
