Description

This is a role for a Senior Technical Architect. This is a 12 – month contract with our client in the banking sector. We are looking for a lead architect to develop fit for purpose, integrated end- to end technical solutions across multiple technologies for our clients organisation. Key Responsibilities Architectural Strategy: Design and oversee integrated end-to-end technical solutions across multiple technologies, ensuring every piece of the puzzle fits the broader organizational goal. Leadership of Leads: Act as the "Lead of Leads," guiding engineering practitioners and product leads to achieve seamless programme alignment. Innovation & Governance: Evaluate emerging technologies to determine what is truly "fit for purpose." Cross-Functional Influence: Bridge the gap between business ambition and technical execution, communicating complex architectural visions to stakeholders at all levels. Who You Are The Architect: You have a proven track record of designing high-traffic, multi-tier enterprise systems. The Mentor: You dont just dictate; you inspire. You have the "soft power" to lead lead-level engineers through influence and expertise rather than just title. The Futurist: You understand the lifecycle of technology and can distinguish between a passing fad and a foundational shift. The Communicator: You can explain the why behind a infrastructure shift just as easily as you can debate the how of a microservices migration.
