We’re currently looking for an Engineering Lead / Technical Lead to join an innovative technology business operating within the healthcare space.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior .NET Engineer ready to take the next step into leadership, with the chance to lead a small engineering team while still staying close to the technology.

You’ll work across both the existing product environment and new product development, helping the team maintain a stable, secure platform while also introducing new ideas and capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and support a team of software engineers.
• Remain hands-on across development, architecture and technical delivery.
• Help shape engineering standards, processes and best practices.
• Work across both BAU product development and new initiatives.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
• Work closely with product and senior leadership on technical direction.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and fit for purpose.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with .NET / .NET Core and SQL Server.
• Experience across Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• A senior engineer who is ready to take their first step into formal leadership.
• Someone who actively uses AI coding/development tools and understands how to apply them effectively.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Good understanding of software quality, security and technical risk.

Nice to have: Angular, mobile development, API design, OWASP/Secure SDLC, or exposure to healthcare technologies such as FHIR or DICOM.
