ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are the leading supplier of Fresh, Chilled, and Frozen potato products in the UK and are known for our high-quality produce and innovative products. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our experienced Fresh Engineering Maintenance team, at our Airdrie Production Facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, maintaining equipment efficiency, and minimising downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in an engineering maintenance management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Fresh Maintenance Engineering team, providing guidance and support where necessary.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise production disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs effectively.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports as required.
