Onomondo is on a mission to revolutionize global IoT connectivity. Our work directly impacts millions of devices globally, ensuring seamless, low-latency and highly available connectivity for mission-critical applications. Our services enable secure authentication, signaling and messaging for devices using Onomondo SIM cards, across 680+ networks in 180+ countries.
Our API and WebApp squad is at the heart of how customers interact with Onomondo. From our public API and webhook infrastructure to our customer-facing web app and underlying data platform, we enable users to seamlessly integrate, manage, and gain insights from their IoT connectivity.
The squad is cross-functional, with engineers who bring expertise in backend, frontend, database engineering, and product management. Together, we deliver user-facing features, build integrations, and ensure our platform is robust, intuitive, and secure. Our work touches everything from API design and performance to event-driven architectures, monitoring and user experience, all in close collaboration with Product through discovery, user interviews and iterative delivery.
Our tech stack includes Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform. We value pragmatism, clean design, and a relentless focus on quality, observability and customer impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a cross-functional engineering squad, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop your team through regular 1:1s, constructive feedback and professional growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Product to drive a product discovery mindset, ensuring solutions are rooted in user needs, validated by customer insights and aligned with business goals.
  • Champion quality and reliability by embedding monitoring, alerting, automated testing and relevant engineering practices into the team’s workflow.
  • Lead the ideation and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they are pragmatic and scalable.
  • Facilitate effective planning, delivery and stakeholder communication, ensuring the squad delivers high-value features with predictable quality.
  • Collaborate with peers in engineering leadership to align standards, share learnings and continuously evolve our engineering practices.
  • Support the team in balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability and scalability.
