Description

Summary: Seeking an Automation & Controls Engineering Manager with expertise in Rockwell systems to lead a team in managing automation projects and daily operations.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing support experience in Electrical, Electronic, and Industrial Controls
  • Minimum 7 years direct management of technical staff
  • Strong understanding of Rockwell software (Studio5000, RSlogix500, FactoryTalk) and Kinetix motion control systems
  • Experience with industrial and collaborative robotics installation
  • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes, electrical safety, industrial power distribution
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical schematic design
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience using Wonderware AchestrA and InSQL for data collection
  • Knowledge of control networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, Data Highway Plus, Ethernet)
  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee controls design for new equipment and machine upgrades
  • Support maintenance technicians on automated processing and packaging systems
  • Provide feasibility assessments for automation-focused projects
  • Guide training and performance reviews for engineers and technicians
  • Execute capital projects including financial justification and commissioning control systems
