About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Rail team working out of our site in Swindon.
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will:
- Provide support to signalling projects across the portfolio and to assist the Operational Leads and RHoE with signalling resolution issues;
- Deliver professional input to project delivery – focussing on assurance and delivery to time, cost and quality;
- Act as CEM and/or CRE where required across multiple projects;
- Grow, coach and mentor the project engineers and graduate engineers;
- Provide Level 2 On Call support.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Railway systems and sub-systems at a complex level;
- 5+ years experience of CRE duties on multi-discipline projects;
- Experience of CEM duties;
- Knowledge of engineering design;
- Appropriate industry standards;
- Quality, health, safety and environmental Regulations and standards;
- CDM Regulations;
- Member of, or working towards, corporate membership of an approvedEngineering Institution;
- Valid PTS with AC/DC.

- Client contract and term & conditions;
- Line & team management;
- Experience of CEM duties on multi-discipline projects.
