Job Description THE ROLE Lead the local application support team, ensuring seamless resolution of business-critical issues. Manage a Senior Operations Engineer responsible for BAU uplift, incident resolution, and support escalation. Establish and lead an offshore BAU engineering team to scale team capacity and ensure the resolution of ongoing issues Own incident management, triage, and rapid technical issue resolution to keep business operations running smoothly. Partner closely with business units to understand their needs and translate technical constraints into clear business language. Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritise and deliver the BAU backlog. Drive automation and process improvements to reduce long-term support burden and increase system stability. Proactively monitor system health to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact users. Qualifications THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH Proven experience managing hybrid local/offshore teams, ideally building offshore capability from scratch. Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders. An operational mindset with relentless drive for operational excellence and system stability. Strong software engineering background with ability to review code and guide technical decisions. Experience balancing day-to-day operational support with long-term debt reduction and platform improvements. Customer-focused approach to internal stakeholder management.
