The salary or hourly rate range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary or hourly rate will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. The Data Platforms team is builds scalable data movement, transformation, and retrieval platforms on Whatnot. As the Engineering Manager of the Data Infrastructure team, you’ll focus on developing, maintaining, and setting the vision for systems that enables Whatnot engineers to develop data-intensive product features at lightning speed, while unlocking cutting-edge production use cases, like real-time analytics, search, and AI.

In addition, you’ll:

• hire and develop engineers across all platform applications and backend systems.
• collaborate with product engineering, analytics, and infrastructure engineering counterparts to set strategic direction of the team, advocating for platform solutions that help us grow Whatnot as a whole.
• plan and manage projects, coordinating and aligning your team‘s goals against others across the business.
