We have partnered with a leading recycling & waste management company who are a leader in material processing, energy from waste and renewable energy production. The client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Manager to oversee their renewable energy site operations, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 3 / HNC or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience within Recycling/waste, renewable energy, energy from waste or similar heavy engineering industries
• Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance planning, and lean manufacturing.

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance.
• Manage and improve preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
• Support production teams to minimize downtime and optimise machine performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to technical issues.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical equipment availability.
