Description
Your Mission reev is building the Energy Hub for EV charging and energy management across Europe - the platform that companies, operators, and drivers use every day to run their charging and energy infrastructure. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our core engineering teams. You'll own a critical part of the reev platform end-to-end, work closely with product and commercial stakeholders, and help shape how we deliver value to operators and drivers across Europe. What you'll own reev's platform spans the full stack - from the reev hub and driver apps to the energy and charging management systems that power them - on a Kotlin and React stack running on AWS. You'll lead engineers responsible for a focused domain of that platform, with full ownership of the experience, quality, and outcomes your team delivers. Concretely: Lead an engineering team (and potentially two, depending on scope) within a focused area of the reev platform. Across the company, our teams cover everything from operator-facing surfaces and monetization to the energy and EMS capabilities that make charging work. Partner closely with your PM on the outcomes that matter for your domain - whether that's NRR and conversion, reliability and SLAs, or the operational metrics customers care about - and help shape the roadmap to hit them. Coach engineers, keep the backlog coherent, and instill a product mindset throughout the team. Data-driven decisions are not optional. Hold the bar on quality, reliability, and the day-to-day experience of B2B operators whose business depends on the platform working. What you bring along Have 5+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineering teams Stay close to the code. You're comfortable with our stack - Kotlin, React, AWS - or equivalent JVM/TypeScript/cloud experience, and use AI as a daily tool to think, prototype, and unblock the team. Engage thoughtfully with engineers on architecture and product design, and offer valuable insights when it matters. Have a strong product and commercial mindset. You review the product the way a customer does, co-own CSAT with the PM, and have shipped in teams measured on outcomes - not just output. Communicate clearly in English. German is a plus, not a requirement. Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS, energy, mobility, or platforms where engineering directly drives customer and commercial outcomes. What you can expect from us Culture @ reev We foster a strong performance culture built on clear goals, ownership, and trust. Monthly team events and regular visits between our offices in Munich and Zagreb strengthen our team spirit and connection. Working @ reev Our office in Munich offers space for collaboration, creativity, and celebrating shared success. For this role, we expect you to be on‑site at least three days per week. Benefits @ reev 28 vacation days per year to recharge and refocus. Free access to the nilo platform with sessions led by psychologists or business coaches. JobRad, a subsidised public transport ticket, or an EGYM Wellpass membership — you choose what fits best. An annual learning budget of €1,000 plus internal development opportunities. Benefits may vary depending on location. About us Our team is based on an open, diverse culture in which everyone is responsible for their own work. With us, you will have the space to realise your own ideas and to grow as an individual. The desire to change something drives every one of us. Become a part of our team and be inspired by our vision. We believe that diversity of all kinds enriches our teams and a diverse work environment fosters innovation. Our focus is on your ideas and how your uniqueness will help shape our vision. We therefore welcome every single application - regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion, political opinion, economic or social status, language, marital status, appearance, a disability or (chronic) illness, etc. And since we are not free of biases ourselves, we encourage you to send your application without a photo or date of birth.
