QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree-qualified in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership - desirable.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer within the water sector, preferably on AMP frameworks.
• Background working with or for Tier 1 contractors on water and utilities projects - essential.
• Strong technical leadership and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of UK water industry standards, including WIMES, CDM Regulations, and DWI compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead and manage all engineering functions across the AMP8 portfolio for South West Water.
• Oversee the design, technical review, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineering works.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical matters with the client, design teams, and delivery partners.
• Ensure technical compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements, including CDM, WIMES, and Water Industry standards.
• Support planning, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Lead engineering governance, including design reviews, HAZOPs, and value engineering workshops.
