Job Description Job Summary: This position will work closely with the Project Manager and lead discipline engineers to manage engineering activities and coordinate interfaces across the project. The role involves supervising the engineering subcontractor and ensuring the successful execution of all engineering phases from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality engineering outputs on schedule and within budget, while maintaining compliance with HSSE standards and achieving performance goals for quality, schedule, and cost. Lead meetings with clients and plan, organize, and manage engineering studies to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, including constructability reviews and as-built documentation. Support the Project Manager in stakeholder interface management throughout the project. Provide technical guidance and review the engineering deliverables prepared by the engineering consultant to ensure high-quality solutions that meet client specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage, supervise and coordinate the engineering project and align with company’s strategic goals and objectives Leading and managing the multi-discipline engineering team to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Review FEED and detail design documents and provide high-level expertise for the project Efficiently allocating resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes Providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and adherence to industry standards and meets client ADNOC standards and project engineering specifications Overseeing the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, including upper management, clients, and team members, to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly Coordinate all design and safety workshops such as design review, plot plan review, HAZID/HZOP, SIL, etc. with clients and the third parties, and to ensure compliance with recommendations Monitors compliance with standards and processes to assure delivery Ensure that engineering subcontractor focus on process safety through the engineering team Oversight and control of Engineering Histogram to support workforce planning Responsible for the engineering content of project execution plans for assigned contracts/projects Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the project engineering teams Focuses on managerial concerns of the project such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation. Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work Assist project manager in carrying out interface management for the project for all the internal and external stakeholders’ management for the project Reporting on Engineering status, technical assistance and support during project and liaison with Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors Support in pre-commissioning and commissioning and vendor coordination. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related technical field or qualified degree with significant experience in technical organization. Desired, PMP, Project Management Professional & Masters Degree in Engineering Management Additional Information Experience: Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in major Brownfield oil & gas projects, including at least five (05) years in similar position in ADNOC Onshore / Offshore on EPC or EPCm projects. Familiarity with systems and standards in oil & gas, petrochemical, power and infrastructure sectors. Experience of customer facing communication Specific experience in Oil & Gas projects across their lifecycle in the GCC region. Pre-FEED, FEED experience is essential Detailed Engineering experience in onshore / offshore projects Skills & Abilities: Capable of representing business and client to business associates in a professional manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing people at all levels of the organization Skilled in forecast planning for people resources Able to implement and embed standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellence Good knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation Expert in Engineering excellence Able to carry out audit and incident investigations Good Project management skills Skilled in mediation and dispute resolution Financial and commercial awareness Excellent PC Skills (MS Office Automation)
