Greenvolt Power Romania is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a direct contributor to the growth of Greenvolt's footprint in Romania by actively participating in the planning, coordination, and supervision of the engineering execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key accountabilities Provide technical oversight of assigned projects from basic engineering design through detailed design and construction. Own the project engineering schedule, and ensure that correct engineering sequence is maintained, or mitigations put in place. Verify that health, safety, and environmental factors are incorporated in the design. Support managing and control of technical /Time Schedule /H&S/Quality issues during design process. Active Support to project technical DD with M&A teams in Wind /PV / BESS projects. Procurement in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP), Project technical requirements, evaluation of offers, contract discussions. Analise the layouts and reports from the resource department and propose possible upgrades. Good knowledge of market engineering consulting companies and construction companies (leading player’s) in the country. Understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP/EPC Contractors. Ability to seek solutions in discussions with designers to improve the project budget while maintaining its quality. Collaborate during construction process and provide solutions to construction design problems appear, in coordination with the Construction Team. Availability to travel in the country where the projects are, and ability to coordinate works activities to fit the project needs. Engineering background (preferable Electrical/Civil Engineer) Minimum 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects Wind and PV (Utility scale) engineering. Experienced with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants and high voltage lines and substations. Good understanding on how to handle communication with the different stakeholders during the design process. Experience in working with Auto cad, MS Project, MS Office, Windpro, Wasp, Pvsyst. Knowledge of local regulations for connecting projects to the grid. Negotiation skills and problem solving. Strong interpersonal and communicative abilities. Strong analytical skills. Availability to travel. Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP/EPC Contractors.
