ROLE PURPOSE

The Engineering Manager (EM) is responsible for leading the engineering delivery of projects involving civil engineering disciplines, including overseeing the Civils Examination contracts for infrastructure clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, reliability, and longevity of the UK’s infrastructure through meticulous inspection, examination, and reporting of structural assets.
The EM will serve as the primary technical authority, ensuring that all solutions meet contractual, regulatory, and technical standards. A key responsibility of the role is driving the adoption of sustainable engineering techniques that deliver efficiencies and technological advances. The EM will undertake tendering activities, promoting sustainable engineering practices across all disciplines.
