Description

As Engineering Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of an international engineering team of 16 specialists at three locations worldwide. Together, you will ensure the successful technical implementation of demanding customer projects in the field of marine and offshore lighting.

In this responsible position, you will combine employee management, technical project coordination, and continuous process optimization in an international environment. As part of our long-term succession planning, we will support your onboarding with structured training and a comprehensive handover.

Your tasks

They lead, coach and develop an international Global Engineering Team with 16 employees in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering and software engineering at three international locations.
They are responsible for the technical implementation of international customer projects – from order receipt through engineering, configuration and customer-specific adjustments to the successful delivery of individual lighting solutions.
They ensure that our standard products and system solutions are optimally adapted to customer-specific requirements, project specifications and quality standards.
They structure, prioritize and coordinate engineering activities and work packages, thus ensuring efficient and timely project execution.
They continuously develop engineering processes, drive innovative solutions and work closely with the areas of project management, sales support, production and MOW R&D in an international environment.

Your profile

They have a completed technical degree or a comparable qualification, for example in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or a similar discipline.
They bring several years of experience in a technical engineering or project environment.
They have leadership experience and understand how to motivate and develop technical teams and create a trusting and collaborative work culture.
They are accustomed to coordinating complex technical issues across disciplines and translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
They work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, maintaining an overview even when managing multiple projects and priorities. Process optimization and change management are among their strengths.
They communicate confidently in an international environment and enjoy working with colleagues from different cultures.
They have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
