QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of engineering experience
• Recognized as a technical leader and key resource
• Ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities
• Supervisory experience with contract personnel and technical associates
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (min. C1)
• Self-driven and strong organizational skills to work on multiple projects alongside all of Kraken global offices
• Flexibility, team spirit and willingness to take responsibility

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the engineering team throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure all designs meet legislative, regulatory, and company standards.
• Define engineering scope, strategy, and delivery plans in coordination with project management.
• Manage team resources, identify skill gaps, and support professional development.
• Oversee design reviews, technical workshops, and risk assessments according to project plans.
• Monitor engineering progress, costs, and risks, and report to the Project Manager.
• Lead team performance processes including evaluations, attendance, and coordination with PM on personnel matters.
