About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager based in the Stuttgart region to support technical collaboration on selected luxury leather goods hardware development projects.The role is suited to professionals from advanced manufacturing, precision components, automotive supply chains, mechanical engineering, or industrial product development who understand how product concepts are converted into manufacturable and repeatable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review product concepts and technical requirements from a manufacturing perspective.
• Support engineering assessments involving structure, materials, tolerances, assembly, and manufacturability.
• Identify engineering and production risks during early product development.
• Coordinate technical discussions across product, tooling, quality, supplier, and manufacturing teams.
• Support DFM and development-to-production reviews.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving during development and validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, process stability, and product consistency.
• Provide insights into German engineering and advanced-manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering management, mechanical engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrialization.
• Experience with precision metal components, automotive suppliers, engineered products, or premium hardware is preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, materials, and technical problem-solving.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering projects.
• German advanced-manufacturing experience is highly valued.

This is a remote, contract-based and project-oriented role supporting selected technical-development programs in Europe.
