The Role We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team delivering critical Policy Administration platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape strategy, drive delivery, and influence both Technology and Business outcomes. What you’ll do Lead and grow an engaged, high-performing engineering team Own delivery across key streams in an agile, DevOps environment Provide hands-on technical leadership across architecture and engineering practices Drive platform strategy, scalability, resilience and continuous improvement Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes Identify inefficiencies and champion automation and optimisation Ensure strong engineering standards, integration patterns, and platform cohesion About you 15+ years’ experience in Policy Administration systems (e.g. TCS BaNCS) Deep expertise in Life Insurance & Superannuation domains Strong end-to-end system analysis, problem solving and solution design capability Proven leadership experience building and guiding engineering teams Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Solid understanding of testing, integrations (APIs, messaging, batch), and platform operations Comfortable working in an operational environment (including on-call when required) Advanced SQL (Oracle) for data analysis and reconciliation Experience with ATO SuperStream V3 Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Data Lakes) Tools: Jira (advanced), ServiceNow, Bitbucket, Bamboo Bringing our best to life - why join us?
