Tasks:

As Engineering Manager (m/f/d) you will take on the disciplinary leadership of several cross-functional software development teams and support their sustainable development.

• You lead several agile development teams and are the first point of contact for all personnel-related issues.
• You support employees through regular feedback and development discussions and promote their professional and personal development.
• You support recruiting processes, participate in the onboarding of new employees, and strengthen long-term employee retention.
• Together with HR and the technical managers, you will develop an appreciative and performance-oriented engineering culture.
• You ensure transparency, clear priorities, and sustainable delivery across multiple teams.
• You plan resources and capacities, moderate conflicting objectives, and ensure high delivery capability.
• You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering and other stakeholders, and support organizational changes.
• You actively promote modern working methods and the use of current technologies such as cloud and AI.

Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience as an Engineering Manager (m/f/d), Development Manager (m/f/d) or in a comparable management position within software development
• Experience in leading multiple agile software teams and in SaaS transformations
• Excellent technical understanding of modern software development, cloud technologies, and software engineering processes.
• Knowledge of agile methods and collaboration in cross-functional product teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as an empathetic and appreciative leadership personality.
• Experience in working with international teams is an advantage.
• Interest in modern technologies and ideally initial experience with AI-supported software development
