Drive execution of critical platform initiatives from concept through delivery, balancing innovation, reliability, scalability, and speed. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes. Guide architectural discussions and system design decisions, helping teams navigate technical trade-offs and long-term infrastructure planning. Build and enhance internal developer platforms, shared infrastructure services, CI/CD systems, observability solutions, deployment tooling, and operational frameworks. Partner with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure teams to align priorities, define roadmaps, and deliver impactful platform capabilities. Break down complex technical challenges into incremental deliverables that provide immediate value while supporting long-term strategic goals. Champion improvements in developer experience, platform reliability, security, operational efficiency, and engineering productivity. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for future investment and innovation. Ensure platform solutions are scalable, maintainable, and capable of supporting evolving business and technical requirements. Requirements: 8+ years of engineering experience within infrastructure, platform engineering, developer tooling, or related technical domains. 4+ years of people management experience, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance development. Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in distributed systems, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale engineering environments. Demonstrated ability to lead system design discussions and evaluate architectural trade-offs across complex technical ecosystems. Experience building and maintaining internal developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability systems, deployment tooling, or configuration management solutions. Proven track record of translating technical objectives and user needs into strategic roadmaps and successful product delivery. Strong understanding of reliability engineering, developer experience optimization, and operational best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership teams. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to long-term platform health and team success. Experience working with open-source technologies and modern cloud-native infrastructure. Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments while balancing strategic planning with execution. Experience with highly scalable distributed systems, developer-focused products, or large-scale infrastructure platforms is highly valued.
