As the Engineering Manager of the Platform Team, you will oversee our data center and cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. The team, consisting of six members with expertise in bare metal, virtualization, containerization, and cloud engineering, applies modern DevOps and SecOps principles across all environments. You will also be responsible for cost and budget control, ensuring efficient resource utilization. We utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps principles to streamline deployments and system configuration, with a strong focus on governance and compliance. The Platform Team plays a key role in supporting other teams that develop road safety solutions using Golang and Java, providing a solid infrastructure foundation. This is a hands-on role, requiring close collaboration and active participation in both technical and strategic decisions to drive innovation and operational excellence.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work on innovative projects with a global impact, enhancing safety and operational efficiency in cities worldwide. While based in our vibrant Amsterdam office, your role demands flexibility, including a minimum three-day in-office work week and occasional collaboration with our Haarlem team for specific projects.
Join us at Sensys Gatso, where your skills in software engineering will contribute directly to building smarter, safer cities. This is more than a career—it’s a chance to shape the future of road safety worldwide.
