As an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in shaping, scaling, and strengthening the company’s platform infrastructure. You will lead a talented engineering team, ensuring excellence in performance, collaboration, and technical delivery. Your work will drive innovation in cloud architecture, DevOps, and platform reliability, while fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about distributed systems, automation, and empowering teams to achieve their best. Accountabilities Lead the architecture, strategy, and execution of core platform technologies, promoting best practices across the organization. Drive adoption of modern infrastructure automation, reliability engineering, and integrated security principles. Act as a bridge between platform and application development teams to ensure alignment and collaboration. Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. Oversee the delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platform services. Ensure adherence to high-quality standards through testing, observability, and security-by-design practices. Define clear short- and long-term goals for the platform roadmap and ensure timely execution. Collaborate with recruiting teams to attract and retain top engineering talent. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud-native environments with distributed systems and platform development. At least 2 years of experience managing Platform, DevOps, or SRE teams, including mentoring and performance management. Proven success in planning and executing complex infrastructure initiatives from concept to delivery. Expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus. Deep understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ), and cloud database management. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated security testing. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English. Preferred: experience with developer experience (DX) improvement, cost optimization, or highly regulated industries (Fintech, Telecom, Gaming).
