OUR JOURNEY

FILTEC is the most successful privately owned Water Treatment Solutions business in New Zealand, with our newest two offices in Australia. FILTEC has earnt a strong reputation; through our proven track record. (FILTEC ANZ group has experienced double digit year on year growth for over three decades).

We’re well-known and widely trusted to design, build and maintain water infrastructure. We have a project delivery team comprised of some of the best engineers in the sector – our engineering team are ‘the brains of the operation’ and certainly have strong technical expertise coupled with a collaborative mindset - they perform well when working closely together.

The best aspect of this role is people in the team that you’ll be leading!

We’re contractors, in that we design & build. We don’t consult on options and feasibility; we focus on a robust pragmatic design that works – engineer the solution; then interface with the project delivery team during build (with continued insight gained from rejoining the project at commissioning stage)

IDEAL TIME TO JOIN:

  • We have transformed our org chart, this role is vacant due to promotion. FILTEC is thriving, sustained success = continued career opportunities
  • FILTEC’s Engineering team interface with all of our projects – including our fastest growing markets in Australia
  • Our current strategy involves diversification, innovation and sustainability
  • We invest in sophisticated new systems & technologies (and apply AI effectively) with more agility than large corporations

SUCCESS PROFILE

1) Passion & Experience: leading the evolution of concept to detailed design

2) Ambition to join dynamic, protean firm; rather than ordinary, generic D&C contractor

3) Tertiary qualifications such as a Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering OR Engineering Management

4) A background in Water Treatment is beneficial but not essential – any other ‘Engineer, Procure, Install’ OR ‘Design & Construct’ experience is valued
