Purpose of the Role This role exists to lead and develop our site engineering function, ensuring our manufacturing assets operate safely, efficiently, and consistently. You will champion a culture where safety is uncompromising, preventative maintenance is embedded, and engineering standards support both current operations and our long‑term strategic priorities. Qualifications What We Need From You: • A proven track record in engineering leadership within a manufacturing or process environment—ideally chemicals, FMCG, or related regulated sectors • Strong commitment to safety-first thinking, with experience developing or improving safe systems of work and engineering controls • Excellent understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices, reliability programmes, and asset care strategies • Ability to lead, influence, and develop a high-performing engineering team with a structured, process-driven approach • Demonstrable experience managing engineering projects, contractors, and compliance activities (e.g., PUWER, LOLER, pressure systems, ATEX) • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/D or degree) and a full UK driving licence Additional Information The Rewards: You will be rewarded with a competitive salary, and a sweep of great benefits.
