We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of high-quality products and processes all while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The Engineering Manager will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our projects, ensuring they align with our business goals and drive operational excellence.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and technician in the completion of engineering projects across our Environmental, Water and Construction divisions. The successful candidate will work in our Head Office in Killarney. The position may involve occasional travel to our other sites in the UK and Europe.

• Encourage professional development and technical excellence within the team.
• In conjunction with the senior management team, establish KPI’s and projects for the department.
• Oversee and optimize manufacturing and engineering processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead the team in designing products that are optimized for manufacturability.
• Drive innovation by leading R&D initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
• Manage the annual capital investment budget related to the planned engineering projects and control projects spending which are linked to company KPIs.
• Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures throughout the engineering process.
• Ensure that all products meet the required specifications and comply with industry standards.
• Identify potential risks in engineering processes and projects, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure that safety and regulatory compliance are prioritized in all engineering activities.
• Ensure that the engineering section of the ERP system is maintained.
• Provides technical support for environmental and safety regulatory efforts.
