ENGINEERING OPERATIONS MANAGER – 5-STAR HOTELS IN SYDNEY CBD

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to oversee all engineering and maintenance functions for a leading 5-star hotel in Sydney’s CBD. This is a key role responsible for maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

• Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance team of 20+ staff.
• Oversee all technical services, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including preventive maintenance programs
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Work closely with senior management to develop and implement long-term operational strategies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimise guest impact during maintenance activities
• Lead emergency response efforts for any system failures or hotel emergencies
• Foster a positive and proactive work environment focused on continuous improvement
