MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience,
  • Or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience

Nice to Have ( Preferred Qualifications )

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field); MBA preferred.
  • Experience with vascular products and therapies, including catheters, stents, and polymer/metal processing.
  • Strong background in medical device product development with thorough knowledge of FDA regulations and relevant industry standards.
  • Expertise across the entire product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.
  • Certified in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM), Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), or Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Proven operational experience with deep expertise in at least one Operations function and strong program management capabilities.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, avionics, or automotive.
  • Skilled in problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, virtual teams.
  • Hands-on experience in new product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Extended Operations Team (up to 10 functions) to ensure on-time and on-budget performance through the new product development cycle.
  • Ensure scope, cost, resource and schedule alignment between operations and core team functions
  • Follow compliance processes for New Product Development
  • Ability to influence and negotiate requirements to meet program outcomes.
  • Execute pre-established Operations Strategies.
  • Ensure structured problem methods and predictive engineering principles are consistently and rigorously applied, such as Design for Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar concepts.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask critical questions without being the subject matter expert
