Job Description Position title: VIE – Engineering Project Engineer – (M/W) Contract duration: 24 months Location: Jendouba, Tunisia Desired starting date: Q1, 2026 As part of strengthening its industrial structure in Tunisia, Lesaffre is looking for a VIE Project Engineer to support and lead its development, modernization, and optimization projects for its production equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include: 1) Project investment management and coordination: Develop and implement comprehensive investment project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources) Identify new investment opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare investment proposals Develop recommendations for the modernization, improvement, or replacement of existing production equipment 2) Stakeholder coordination: Coordinate internal teams (production, purchasing, finance, etc.) and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and external consultants to ensure quality delivery on investment projects 3) Technical support, monitoring and continuous improvement: Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies, materials, and methods Assess project outcomes and make continuous improvement recommendations Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions Qualifications Your profile: You have an engineering background in mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering, you are eager to apply your skills to industrial investment projects. You have a first successful experience (1-2 years) in a factory and have already lead or contributed to investment projects. You are familiar with project management principles and have strong organizational skills. You are comfortable using technical tools such as AutoCAD. You are recognized for your ability to coordinate various stakeholders and to communicate clearly, in a structured way. You demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, autonomy, and rigor.
