JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Engineering Project Management Intern will support cross-functional engineering initiatives by helping drive project visibility, accountability, and execution within established Stage Gate procedures. This role works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure projects progress on time, roadblocks are removed, and deliverables are met across global teams. This internship provides hands-on exposure to global engineering program coordination, product development processes, and cross-functional collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PROJECT TRACKING & STAGE GATE COMPLIANCE * Ensure Engineering tasks for each project are clearly understood, properly scoped, and progressing on time within established Stage Gate procedures. * Maintain project status tracking and provide visibility into deliverables, risks, and milestone timing. * Identify potential delays and proactively escalate issues to maintain schedule integrity. GLOBAL ENGINEERING COORDINATION * Support Engineering activities and projects globally through recurring touchpoints and structured follow-ups. * Facilitate regular check-ins to ensure no roadblocks are delaying deliverables. * Track action items and drive closure to support on-time project execution across regions. SUPPLY CHAIN & FABRICATION COORDINATION * Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to coordinate bracket fabrication for Side Mount and Airless fitments. * Ensure required drawings and CAD files are available, accurate, and delivered on schedule. * Support communication between teams to align fabrication timing with engineering development milestones. TEST VEHICLE & FITMENT COORDINATION * Support Engineering in securing test vehicles for Side Mount and Airless fitments. * Coordinate timing across projects to reduce duplication of common fitment needs. * Assist in developing schedules that optimize shared testing resources and minimize redundancy. MARKETING & BUSINESS CASE SUPPORT * Support Marketing in transitioning projects from Proof of Concept (PoC) to Stage 1 Business Case status. * Assist with documentation, milestone tracking, and cross-functional alignment required for business case advancement. * Help ensure technical readiness aligns with commercialization timelines. QUALIFICATIONS * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field. * Strong organizational and project coordination skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) * Familiarity with CAD systems is a plus. * Interest in product development, manufacturing, and cross-functional project execution. PREFERRED SKILLS * Basic understanding of Stage Gate or product development processes. * Exposure to global team collaboration. * Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES * Hands-on experience in global engineering program management. * Exposure to supply chain coordination and manufacturing processes. * Participation in cross-functional business case development. * Direct visibility into product development from concept to commercialization.
