Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Manufacturing Industry experience
  • Experience with wheelset design, forged steel materials, machining, or assembly processes.
  • Project Management experience
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
  • Oversee compliance with technical specifications, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards, while maintaining precise documentation and status reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes, identifying process gaps, and recommending strategic enhancements
  • Partner with operations teams to plan and coordinate shop floor activities that align with project milestones and production priorities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control protocols
  • Manage budgets and costs, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resource use
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and presentations on project status
  • Proficiency in technical writing and project documentation

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
