Daikin Applied is seeking an Engineering Project Manager. The Engineering Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical degree strongly preferred. Exceptions possible with strong technical new product development experience
• 8+ years of experience in Technical, Engineering, Project Management and/or Project Engineering

• Current PMP Certification

• Lead new Product Development Engineering teams and collaborate with multiple functions to define, develop, and deploy strategic initiatives and/or product roadmaps that maximize the value of the business and profitability of new products
• Ensure functional commitments are achieved, strong understanding of Product Development Engineering deliverables within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters. Understand Key Engineering Product Requirements and Deliverables: PVSR, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R
• Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications
• Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Coordinate project activities regarding government regulations or other governmental agencies, such as required project permitting
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required, including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, and Project Analysis through required project documentation
• Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
• Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost and timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff
• Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer
