Job Description Join our team as a Project Manager supporting a large‑scale defence transformation programme. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, helping define scope, manage risk and maintain delivery control in a fast‑moving, evolving environment. The role requires a structured, pragmatic approach to project management and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders. This is a high‑visibility position within a complex systems integration landscape. Location: Stevenage On-site: Hybrid – 3 days per week Seniority: Mid–Senior Clearance: Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate multiple workstreams within a complex transformation programme Support the definition, refinement and control of project scope in a dynamic environment Drive project delivery using core project management principles, governance and controls Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and RAID logs Monitor and manage risk, ensuring critical items are escalated with a holistic view for senior stakeholders Track progress across workstreams and provide clear, concise reporting to leadership Support system integration activities across business and technical teams Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment, clarity and momentum Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience working as a Project Manager on complex projects or programmes Experience supporting transformation and system integration activities Exposure to PLM, PDM or engineering product data environments Strong grasp of core project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, risk, governance) Experience coordinating multiple workstreams in fast‑moving or fluid environments Working knowledge of standard PM tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, RAID logs) Clear and confident communicator, able to report effectively to senior stakeholders Soft Skills & Collaboration Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Structured, deductive approach to problem solving Ability to coordinate across multiple teams with competing priorities Calm, organised and methodical under pressure Confident operating with ambiguity while maintaining delivery focus Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience. A recognised Project Management qualification is required (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent). Desirable Skills Experience working within the defence sector Exposure to engineering or product lifecycle environments Experience supporting programmes with senior leadership visibility Familiarity with structured delivery frameworks and assurance gates Additional Information Why join us?
