ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Eteros Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee our engineering program from initiation through completion. This role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams, resource planning, risk management, and ensuring delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background combined with proven project management expertise.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s or PMP certification is a plus).

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, workflows, and resource planning.
  • Proficient in project management tools and familiarity with ERP systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Understanding of SolidWorks

Job Type All positions are full-time and available immediately.
Hours Primarily day shift (8:00am – 4:30pm), with flexibility to work longer hours as required.
Location In person at our Carleton Place, ON manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Define project and product scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and engineering leads.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource plans, adjusting as needed to meet changing priorities.
  • Allocate and coordinate internal and external resources to optimize engineering performance and productivity.
  • Support and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team through recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Oversee all engineering tasks including design, drafting, testing, reporting, and documentation, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Implement and enforce engineering procedures, documentation standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage all product records, including drawings, models, assembly instructions, bill of materials, and revisions.
  • Lead new product development and equipment optimization from concept through production, including prototype testing and iteration.
  • Coordinate testing and certification processes to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and governing bodies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer support, and management) for seamless product launches.
  • Support production planning through the design and sourcing of tooling and fixturing.
  • Validate product designs for manufacturability, usability, and performance effectiveness.
  • Liaise with mechanical designers, suppliers, and vendors to specify and source components and materials.
  • Maintain comprehensive project and product development documentation for quality assurance and compliance (e.g., SRED and other grant programs).
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, project execution, and resource utilization.
