The Engineering Project Manager supports both clients and internal teams in the areas of industrial wastewater management and the development of innovative engineered solutions. Expectations for the Engineering Project Manager: Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, maintaining positive relationships and upholding The Probst Group’s reputation Use proven project management methods to develop and manage project schedules and budgets across all project phases, including construction Coordinate schedules and budgets with subcontractors and equipment suppliers Use project management software to manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects Assign and oversee tasks delegated to project team members Collaborate with Project Coordinators to maintain project documentation and communicate priorities and deliverables Gather client data to support design development by engineers Apply The Probst Group’s configuration model to ensure standardized engineering solutions Complete bid requests and evaluate equipment and contractor quotations Review design calculations, engineering reports, technical memos, and O&M manuals for industrial wastewater treatment systems Prepare equipment purchase orders for assigned projects Conduct site visits to wastewater treatment facilities before and during construction Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering, Construction, or a related field Strong written communication skills for reports, instructions, and proposals Strong verbal communication skills to support frequent client interactions Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time Preferred Experiences for the Engineering Project Manager I: Willingness to work out of the Hartland, WI office Experience in wastewater project management Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
