Apple Health is looking for a world-class engineering project manager capable of managing multiple project initiatives of varying scale, complexity, and focus. Engineering Project Managers (EPMs) are responsible for working with our software development, data science, AIML, and multi-functional teams to craft technical project plans and coordinate the execution against the Plan of Record from concept to launch. EPMs facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. In addition, they drive day-to-day program activities, build planning, execution, and risk assessments to meet overall program objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, technical or AI/ML project management, the ability to balance effort across multiple projects, and collaboratively drive work forward. DESCRIPTION In this role, you will lead software and AI/ML projects for Health with multi-functional partners ranging from Design, Hardware, Operations, Data Science, Engineering, Regulatory, and Clinical organizations. You will be responsible for the product and project development cycle by looking for patterns, offering standard methodologies, and implementing change to ensure tight coordination and communication. You will develop technical project plans and roadmaps for software and products; scope, define, and track development schedules and deliverables. You will also identify and prioritize project tasks, interdependencies, and risks. Additional responsibilities include delivering executive communication and presentations and driving the decision-making process. You will identify and resolve conflicts, interdependencies, and program issues quickly and efficiently; and run retrospectives to identify and implement process improvements. This is a site-based role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience as an engineering or technical project manager Experience managing projects of all sizes, including large, complex, cross-functional initiatives Expertise in crafting project timelines, work breakdown structures, and resource planning across multiple functional teams Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of and experience with project management methodologies and tools Excellent attention to detail Ability to build strong relationships and influence others Track record of defining processes and implementing them
