POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for supporting and coordinating planning and execution of New Product Development, Value Engineering and Continuous Improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to required internationally recognised standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred), or qualified by experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstratable experience managing or supporting projects, ideally in an engineering, manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Experience working in cross-functional/multi-disciplinary teams with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with formal project delivery methods such as Waterfall (training or academic exposure is acceptable)
  • Familiarity with identification and escalation of project risks, issues, and dependencies.

SKILLS:

  • Understanding of project planning tools, such as Microsoft Project
  • Comfortable managing priorities and following up on tasks.
  • Able to take notes, track actions, and support meeting organisation.
  • Analytical skills to support data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the planning, execution and delivery of Engineering projects, ensuring timelines, tasks, and documentation are maintained.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  • Act as the main contact for day-to-day project activities, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Prepare progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics for presentation to Leader and Executive team members.
  • Organise and facilitate project meetings, taking notes, tracking actions and following up on deliverables.
  • Support project team members with task coordination, prioritisation, and identifying potential roadblocks.
  • Contribute to the administration of assigned projects, tracking task and action completion.
