Job title: Engineering Resourcing Capability Manager (Edgewing)
Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.
Salary: £64,000+ Dependent of skills and experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Proven experience managing teams and multiple teams to deliver engineering resource capability solutions
• Strong people management, leadership, communication, and IT skills
• Previous experience working within a resource capability environment or a closely related field
• Skilled in maintaining business information systems, with the ability to review and identify resource gaps
• Degree-qualified in a STEM subject, Chartered status, or equivalent demonstrable experience

• Take responsibility for populating Edgewing Engineering roles identified by HQ and NatCo Engineering team leaders, working closely with the Chief People Office
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Engineering Learning & Development (L&D) management system to support organisational capability growth
• Ensure consistent application and upkeep of people policies within the Engineering function.
• Establish, maintain, and optimise the engineering resource business information system to meet evolving business requirements
• Lead regular engineering resource reviews with managers to identify, assess, and address capability gaps and development opportunities
