Engineering Services Managers supervise both mechanical and electrical trades while leading a team of up to 50 craft workers.
As an (Attractions) Engineering Services Manager, no day will be the same – from keeping “TRON Lightcycle – Run” humming, to supporting animated figures for “It’s a Small World” – anything is possible in this role!
You will lead a team of hourly maintenance employees who perform corrective and preventative maintenance on our world-renowned shows and attractions. You will also perform administrative work which includes scheduling, payroll, and coordinating inspections, with a focus on the professionals you lead and the guests who come to Disney to have a magical experience!

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance-related field including direct experience in an industrial, plant, manufacturing, theme park, or transportation maintenance environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a maintenance environment
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic functions, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and subassemblies
  • Remarkable time management skills
  • Outstanding coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities
  • Comfort interfacing with multiple levels of the organization including executives
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as a willingness to work some evenings, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts including overnight shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Financial management and budgeting experience
  • Familiarity with SAP and maintenance reporting/scheduling systems such as Maximo

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Ensure your team is performing tasks safely and efficiently
  • Create concise turnover reports that will be referenced by your peers, leaders, and executives
  • Help your team get to the root of a problem and find a solution
  • Manage your team in the solving of mechanical and electronic systems which might include a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), hydraulics, pneumatics, audio and video systems, drive systems, and DC/AC Motors from all eras
  • Work in a collaborative environment
  • Work in the field across Disney property
