Contract - Permanent
Hours - 37hrs
Salary - NJC Grade C £25,583 Grade E £28,598 & Grade F £32,061 (Career Graded)
Closing Date - 14th August 2025 at 23.59pm
The Council are looking for a trainee/experienced Operative to fulfil the role of Highways maintenance.
The work entails laying concrete, tarmacadam, kerbing and all other associated works relating to the public highway.
You must be physically fit, able to work in all weathers and have or be prepared to undergo training on all types of plant associated with this type of work. A full drivers license and all of the accredited Roads and Street work qualifications relating to this type of work is essential for the higher graded posts.
